Economy Simulator

Model the Economy From the Person Up, Not the Aggregate Down

The Big Picture

Economic policy fails not because the math is wrong, but because the ontology is wrong. The models that guide nations reason about aggregates — GDP, inflation, employment — and sectors and flows, while remaining blind to the things that actually generate value: how a specific person with a specific idea creates a product, how that product becomes valuable to a specific customer, how knowledge moves when people change jobs, why two firms with identical capital and identical policy treatment diverge completely. So policy pulls macro levers against macro outcomes and is repeatedly surprised by the micro reality underneath.

The Concept

Economy Simulator inverts the standard approach. It is an agent-based, mechanistic model of value creation — built from the bottom up, simulating the people, ideas, firms, and talent flows that actually produce economic value, validated against real firm and talent trajectories, and only then aggregated upward to inform policy. Instead of fitting curves to aggregates, it reconstructs the mechanisms that produce them.

Why It Matters

If you can model why value gets created at the level of people and firms, you can ask questions no aggregate model can answer: which intervention actually unlocks growth, why a leadership change makes or breaks a company, where a grant compounds versus where it evaporates. That is the difference between policy that optimizes a number and policy that understands a system.

Market Opportunity

This is an institutional play aimed at governments, policy institutions, and economic researchers — the actors who spend enormously on guidance built atop the very aggregate models this project is designed to replace.

Vision

Economy Simulator's vision is to give policymakers a microscope for value creation — a validated, mechanistic model of how economies actually grow, so decisions can be made about the real machinery instead of its shadow on a chart.
